The Process

How It Works

You tell us when you need a place. We do the hard part on the back side.

01

Send Us The Request

One short form. Where the site is, how many bedrooms you need, when your people arrive, and roughly how long they are staying. Two minutes on a phone, standing in a job trailer.

02

We Find The Property

We source, secure, and fully furnish a unit near your site — typically within two to four weeks of your request. You do not tour anything, negotiate anything, or sign a local lease.

03

You Get Check-In Details

Address, access instructions, and everything your employee needs to walk in the door. Billed weekly or every four weeks on one invoice, per your preference.

Who We Help

Built For The Jobsite

Two kinds of people call us on a data center build. Both need the same thing: a real place to live, arranged by somebody else.

Subcontractors

Crews Placed For Months Or Years

You won the scope and now you have to put people on the ground a long way from home. Electrical, mechanical, structural, controls — the trade does not matter. Send us the headcount and the arrival dates and we will have furnished units waiting, whether the assignment runs eight weeks or three years.

Construction Management

Executives On Extended Assignment

Project executives, superintendents, and site leadership living away from home for the length of a build need something better than a hotel room. A real apartment with a kitchen, a washer and dryer, and space to work — on terms that flex with the schedule instead of a twelve-month lease.

Simple Pricing

Flat Weekly Rates

Priced by the size of the unit — not by how tight the local market happens to be the week your crew lands. You know the number before anyone gets on a plane.

1 Bedroom

$450/ week

Sleeps 1–2

Ideal for a single traveling employee on a long rotation.

Rates may float slightly with seasonality — we do everything we can to hold this number.

2 Bedroom

$600/ week

Sleeps 2–4

Two crew members with their own rooms, or a manager bringing family.

Rates may float slightly with seasonality — we do everything we can to hold this number.

3+ Bedroom

CALLfor pricing

Sleeps 6–12

Houses that sleep up to twelve — the cheapest way to bed a whole crew.

Whole-Crew Option

We Can Secure Large Homes That Sleep Up To Twelve

When you are landing a whole crew at once, a single large house is almost always cheaper per head than a block of apartments — and it keeps your people together. Call us for pricing on anything three bedrooms and up.

Housing leadership who are bringing their family instead? We do full homes for that too.

Every Rate Includes

  • All utilities — water, electric, gas
  • Fully furnished, move-in ready
  • Parking included
  • No credit checks on your employees
  • No local lease to negotiate
  • One invoice, weekly or every four weeks

On top of the weekly rate there are exactly two items: a refundable security deposit of one week’s rent, and a $150 cleaning fee paid straight through to the cleaning company. No application fees, no admin fees, no taxes added on. More in the FAQ.

Run The Daily Math

You Are Comparing Us To A Hotel

Everybody does, so let us do the division for you. A weekly rate is hard to hold against anything. A daily one is not.

$64.29per day

One bedroom at $450 a week.

$85.71per day

Two bedroom at $600 a week — the whole unit, not per person.

$21.43per person, per day

That same two bedroom with 4 of your people in it. Try booking that at a hotel.

A Hotel Room

  • A separate room for every person on the crew
  • Occupancy tax stacked on the nightly rate
  • No kitchen — every meal goes on an expense report
  • Laundry is a fee, a lobby machine, or a laundromat
  • Four crew members means four rooms, every night
  • A stack of folios to reconcile every month

A Canyon Unit

  • One unit, billed per unit — not per head
  • Utilities, parking, and furniture already in the rate
  • A full kitchen, so dinner is not a line item
  • Washer and dryer in the unit or in the community
  • Four crew members share one two-bedroom
  • One invoice, weekly or every four weeks

We are not going to quote you a hotel rate we have never seen. Pull the folios your crew turned in last month, divide by the nights, and set that number next to these. That comparison is the entire sales pitch.

Not Just Crews

When The Assignment Is Long Enough To Bring The Family

Some of the people on a data center build are not going home on Friday. A project executive on a three-year assignment. A superintendent running the site from groundbreaking to commissioning. The owner of the electrical contractor who has decided the only way this job goes right is if he is standing on it.

Those people should not have to choose between the work and their family. We secure full single-family homes — not apartments — for leadership who want to bring their spouse and kids along for the length of the build.

It works the same way everything else here does: tell us the city, the arrival date, and what the family needs. We go find it.

Request Housing

Pick the bedroom count you need and describe the family in the notes — we read every one.

A House, Not A Unit

Three, four, five bedrooms. A garage, a driveway, a kitchen worth cooking in. The kind of place a family can actually settle into for a year or two.

The Neighborhood Matters

Tell us what counts — school district, a yard for the kids, a quiet street, distance to the site — and we factor all of it into the search before we bring you an option.

Pets And Vehicles

The dog comes too. So does the truck and the boat, where the property allows it. Say so on the request and we will look for it specifically.

Same Simple Billing

One invoice to the company, weekly or every four weeks, exactly like the crew units. Nothing separate to administer because it is the boss.

Everything Included

What Comes With Every Unit

Every unit is set up so your employee can walk in and start living immediately — no setup, no shopping, no surprises on the expense report.

Safe & Secure

Properties in gated or controlled-access communities wherever they are available. Your people are somewhere you would be comfortable putting them.

Fully Equipped Kitchen

Pots, pans, utensils, dishes — everything needed to cook a real meal after a fourteen-hour day. Nobody is living on gas station food.

Washer & Dryers Available

We push hard for modern units with a full-size washer and dryer inside. Where that is not possible, the community always has a laundry room on site. Nobody we house is sitting in a laundromat at 10pm.

Utilities Included

Water, electricity, and gas are bundled into the weekly rate. No accounts to open, no transfers, no final bills chasing you after demobilization.

Parking Included

Dedicated parking with every unit — covered or surface depending on the property. Room for work trucks where the community allows it.

Community Amenities

Pools, hot tubs, and fitness centers at most partner communities. It matters more than you would think on a long rotation.

Move-In Ready

Furniture, beds, bedding, towels, and TVs set up before arrival. Your employee brings a suitcase and a badge — nothing else.

Close To The Site

Our target is every apartment within fifteen minutes of the jobsite. A short, predictable drive to the gate beats a cheaper unit forty-five minutes out — especially at 5am.

Where We Work

We Follow The Build

Data centers are going up across the country, and the same subcontractors keep showing up on all of them. We specialize in housing those crews — wherever the next project lands.

Straight answer on coverage: Phoenix is the market where we own and operate our own furnished units. Everywhere else, we source and manage the property for you project by project — which is exactly why the request form asks for your site city first. If your build is somewhere not pulsing on this map, ask anyway.

Who We Are

A Family Company That Has Been Doing This A While

Canyon Apartments is part of a family of companies Joleen Martin started back in 1998 with a single real estate investment business. Three hundred–plus properties later, across Texas, Arizona, and Tennessee, that company still runs — and this one grew out of it.

The apartment business began in 2017 as a short-term rental operation. When 2020 wiped out an entire season overnight, we pulled every listing and rebuilt around something steadier: direct, furnished, flexible rentals for people who needed a real place to live for a while. Traveling nurses first, then relocating families, then companies placing employees far from home.

Today we own and operate thirty-five furnished units in the Phoenix metro and have hosted several thousand guests. We are owner-operators — when something goes wrong at one in the morning, you are not calling a call center.

Data center construction is where the model fits best. Long assignments, real crews, companies that would rather solve housing with one phone call than manage forty hotel reservations. That is the whole reason this page exists.

FAQ

Common Questions

Still wondering about something? Send the request anyway and ask in the notes.

Two to four weeks is the window we plan around. Send the request as soon as you know the assignment is real — even if the arrival date is still soft. An early request with a rough date is far more useful to us than a precise one that lands a week before your people fly.

It always does. Tell us and we adjust. Because these are weekly arrangements rather than annual leases, moving a start date or extending a stay is a phone call, not a renegotiation.

Yes. Multiple units in the same area, or one large home for a whole crew — we can secure houses that sleep up to twelve. On the request form, tell us the headcount and how you want them split up.

Your company contracts with us; we handle the property side. Your employees never sign a local lease and never go through a credit check. You get one invoice, billed weekly or every four weeks — your choice on the request form.

The furnished unit, all utilities (water, electric, gas), and parking. No separate deposits per employee, no utility transfers, no final bills chasing you after the crew demobilizes.

Two, and that is the entire list. A refundable security deposit equal to one week's rent — $450 on a one bedroom, $600 on a two bedroom — which comes back to you in full. And a $150 cleaning fee that goes straight to the cleaning company at cost; we do not mark it up. No application fee, no administrative fee, no taxes added on top. The weekly rate plus those two items is what you pay.

As long as the assignment runs. Some of our residents stay six weeks; others have been with us well over a year. There is no maximum, and there is no penalty for leaving when the work is done.

We ask for at least 30 days notice before your people vacate the property. Give us that, hand back the keys, and the billing stops at the end of the period — no lease break, no restoration charges for normal use. Schedules move all the time, so tell us as soon as you have a read on the demobilization date, even a rough one.

Data center builds are our specialty because the assignment lengths and crew sizes fit what we do. If you have people to house on another kind of project, ask — the answer is usually yes.

Know Who Is Coming?

Send us the request. Two minutes now saves your team a month of phone calls later — and there is no cost or commitment to ask.
